Layout transfer: background

• If you create a new project in which the layout, including the location of the objects of an existing project, can be used, you can save a lot of time by adopting the required layout information from the source project. This means that the objects do not have to be manually relocated.
• If you do not want to copy the entire project, but only the layouts and their arrangement, the layout transfer is used.
• A backup file can be used as the source for this to adopt the entire arrangement of one or more layouts. It is also possible to manually copy some or all objects of a layout and insert them directly into another layout or structure.
